This Sib Supper Seminar features a new book by Don Meyer (creator of Sibshops) called The Sibling Survival Guide. Join in a conversation about the many tips and ideas from this book along with experiences of other siblings.

PLUS – Do you need help finding and hiring people to provide care, find housing, transportation, companionship, employment support, or respite for your sibling?  How about paperwork, do you need help with that? Or maybe you need help finding things for your siblings to do in the community. Come learn more about a new concept available to you.  Meet support broker, Mary Kay Rathe, who will explain what support brokers do and how to find them.

Free event.  Space limited so reservations are appreciated.  To register, contact us.

Sib Supper Seminars are casual networking and learning events for adults who have siblings with disabilities and their guests (siblings, spouses, parents, friends).  Each SSS includes “supper” followed by conversation with other siblings and an expert on a seminar topic.  This one kicks off the brat season with a brat fry supper.

Next Sib Supper Seminar scheduled on Thursday, June 11  – Topic: What to do when or if you need to manage your sibling’s money.
