Photo Challenge
Grab a couple packages of Peeps, a box, some glue, a little paper or decorations, and you’ve got fun for an afternoon.

Sibshop for ages 8-12 at Circles of Life conference
Circles of Life is Wisconsin’s annual conference for families who have children with disabilities. This event brings together families and the providers who support them to learn, connect, and become more knowledgeable about programs and services for their children.
This year’s conference will be held on May 11-12, 2023. WisconSibs will be offering a Sibshop on Thursday, May 11 from 9 am – noon.

This two-day Sibshop Facilitator training includes:
- Review of sibling concerns across the life span and strategies that work to address them.
- Panel discussion with adult siblings
- Goals and operation of WisconSibs Sibshop
- Sibshop basics, facilitator agreement
- Demonstration Sibshop

*Note: This is first-generation Sibshop training that allows trainees to start Sibshops in their own community or join the troupe of WisconSibs facilitators that will help expand the number of WisconSibs Sibshops offered throughout Wisconsin. What could be more fun than a Sibshop at the Zoo? This Sibshop includes a special live animal program called Animal Encounters. Plus a private viewing of the polar bear exhibit. PLUS a pizza party for the humans!

SibDays of Summer – July 17-21, 2023
This high energy day-camp for siblings ages 6-12 is held at Plamann Park just north of Appleton. Each day is packed with activities, including swimming, arts and crafts, hikes and hunts, games, carnival and playground fun. PLUS—siblings have the opportunity to share and celebrate the challenges and joys of being a sibling.
All campers start the first day at the Chris Brandt shelter. Older campers expand into their own shelter part of each day.
10am-3pm daily
Sign up for 3 or more days.
$50 per day* or $225 for all 5 days **
SibDays directors are trained WisconSibs Sibshop facilitators. Campers especially enjoy their teen and young adult small group leaders, many of whom also have siblings with special needs. Space is limited to 45 campers.
** Check with your case manager to learn if your county will pay some or all of the fee for this sibling respite program.

HWY 41, exit Ballard Rd., go north 2.2 miles, turn left on Broadway to park entrance. Follow signs to your WisconSibs event.
