*Note: This is first-generation Sibshop training that allows trainees to start Sibshops in their own community or join the troupe of WisconSibs facilitators that will help expand the number of WisconSibs Sibshops offered throughout Wisconsin. Emily Holl, Director of the Sibling Support Project, will be the trainer.

Summer Sibshop in Green Bay @ West Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay

That’s right it’s a Sibshop in June! This Sibshop will be a part of a training event WisconSibs is hosting for new Sibshop Facilitators. 

Lead by Emily Holl, the Director of the Sibling Support Project, we have a fun filled day planned, for children 7-13 years old, to participate in this extra special Sibshop. Lunch will be provided. There will be time to play, laugh, and talk with other children who get it, while simultaneously helping us teach the trainees what Sibshops are all about.

Sibshop at the Zoo – Madison @ HENRY VILAS ZOO

What could be more fun than a Sibshop at the Zoo? This Sibshop includes a special live animal program called Animal Encounters. Plus a private viewing of the polar bear exhibit. PLUS a pizza party for the humans!

Do you like baseball? Or Fireworks? Or WisconSibs? Then come enjoy some baseball with us at the Fox Cities Stadium as we celebrate all WisconSibs and look to our future in launching our PosSIBility Builders donor program. Follow the link for more information and to secure your tickets today!



Cookout from 5:00 – 6:30pm in the Fox Cities Stadium picnic area. The meal includes grilled burgers, brats, hot dogs, cowboy baked beans, pasta salad, chips, and 2 drinks per person.

Game starts at 6:40pm, followed by fireworks. Children in attendance will be able to run the bases after the fireworks.

Ticket fees: $30 per adult & $25 per child (covers meal and game admittance)

SibDays of Summer 2023 @ Plamann Park

SibDays of Summer – July 17-21, 2023

This high energy day-camp for siblings ages 6-12  is held at Plamann Park just north of Appleton. Each day is packed with activities, including swimming, arts and crafts, hikes and hunts, games, carnival and playground fun. PLUS—siblings have the opportunity to share and celebrate the challenges and joys of being a sibling.

 All campers start the first day at the Chris Brandt shelter. Older campers expand into their own shelter part of each day.

10am-3pm daily
Sign up for 3 or more days.
$50 per day* or $225 for all 5 days **

SibDays directors are trained WisconSibs Sibshop facilitators.  Campers especially enjoy their teen and young adult small group leaders, many of whom also have siblings with special needs. Space is limited to 45 campers.

** Check with your case manager to learn if your county will pay some or all of the fee for this sibling respite program.

Plamann Park—1375 E Broadway Dr, Appleton: From
HWY 41, exit Ballard Rd., go north 2.2 miles, turn left on Broadway to park entrance. Follow signs to your WisconSibs event.
