SibDays of Summer 2024 @ Plamann Park

SibDays of Summer – July 15-19, 2024

This high energy day-camp for siblings ages 6-12  is held at Plamann Park just north of Appleton. Each day is packed with activities, including swimming, arts and crafts, hikes and hunts, games, carnival and playground fun. PLUS—siblings have the opportunity to share and celebrate the challenges and joys of being a sibling.

 All campers start the first day at the Chris Brandt shelter. Older campers expand into their own shelter part of each day.

10am-3pm daily
Sign up for 3 or more days.
$200 per child

SibDays directors are trained WisconSibs Sibshop facilitators.  Campers especially enjoy their teen and young adult small group leaders, many of whom also have siblings with special needs. Space is limited to 45 campers.

** Check with your case manager to learn if your county will pay some or all of the fee for this sibling respite program.

Plamann Park—1375 E Broadway Dr, Appleton: From
HWY 41, exit Ballard Rd., go north 2.2 miles, turn left on Broadway to park entrance. Follow signs to your WisconSibs event.

Sib Camp 2024 – July 21-24   Door County Wagon Trail (yurts)

For Sibs Ages 13-16 – Yurts

$525 per camper   Yurt and picnic table

Zip line, kayak, and stand-up paddle boarding are just a few of the adventures at Sib Camp .

Join this 4-day (3-night) camping adventure in Door County.  Campers will have a blast experiencing either Door County parks. Campers bike** and hike each day to explore this outdoor adventure camp.

As always, swimming, camp cooking, campfires and talking with other Sibs means lots of fun!

Sib Camp is outfitted and guided by experienced DC Adventure Center staff. The camp session at Wagon Trail features yurt (beds) sleeping and is limited to 14 campers.

** Camper brings their own bike.

Health and Consent Forms will be sent to you after Registration is received. Enrollment is complete once all paperwork and payment have been received.

Meet For a Cool Treat and Support WisconSibs @ Tom’s Drive In

Meet us at Tom’s Drive In on Wisconsin Ave for dinner or dessert (or both!) and connect with other Sibs in the area. You’re encouraged to bring your sibling with a disability to this family-friendly evening! Mention WisconSibs at check-out and a donation will be made to WisconSibs!

Looking for a night of intrigue and excitement?  Join us for a WisconSibs Murder Mystery Dinner featuring “Death of A Gangster,” produced by the renowned Murder Mystery Co. Be transported to the roaring 1920s, where a cast of characters will solve a captivating crime while you enjoy a delicious dinner by Michiel’s. The Sibling’s Choice Awards will be presented at this event. Proceeds benefit WisconSibs.

We cheer for siblings, especially the sisters and brothers of people with disabilities. Celebrate today! In the words of countless sibs, “My sib helped make me who I am today”.
