Connecting siblings with resources for their lifelong journey

Welcome to WisconSibs!

When a child is diagnosed with a disability or long-term health care need, the whole family is changed and needs support.  That includes the sisters and brothers. When an adult with a disability outlives his or her parents, who’s left to step up?  Most often, their sisters and brothers. While often overlooked, siblings – the brothers and sisters – play a critical, life-long role for a person with special needs. And who can help siblings connect with each other and with resources to help them celebrate the joys and share the challenges of having a brother or sister with a disability? Welcome to WisconSibs!
