Show your WisconSibs Pride by Sharing a Picture

Friday, April 10 is National Siblings Day! It’s time to celebrate the role & importance of siblings, regardless of disability. Our siblings are the longest lasting and most influential relationships we have—let’s do something together to celebrate them!

Join the celebration by posting a picture of you and your sibling/s on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest. Tag your post with #WisconSibs AND #NationalSiblingsDay, and you could be the lucky recipient of a first-edition WisconSibs t-shirt!

Before posting, make sure your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest is not ‘private.’ If you choose to share your picture on Facebook, be sure that we’ll be able to find it. You can make specific posts public without compromising all of your posts… here are instructions to make sure we’ll be able to find your picture:

1. Write your post including the hashtags #NationalSiblingsDay & #WisconSibs, attach your photo of you & your sibling/s, and change the privacy setting of that particular post to PUBLIC. Click on ‘public.’
2. Make sure you allow others to follow you on Facebook. To do this, go to your settings page first: https://www.facebook.com/settings
3. Once in your settings, go to ‘followers’ and change the setting from ‘friends’ to ‘everyone.’
